Is there a ceramic cap to ground off the G2 on the crt board? If yes, it can
be conducting and pulling the voltage down.

Unit goes dark when hot,can see very dark reddish blobs.Turned up G2 no
change,metered G2 pin was 185vdc left meter hooked up to pin removed crt pcb
(while set is running)reading jumped up to 600vdc is this the tube or the
fly?
