I suggest you at least confirm the symptom before posting.
Sounds like two problems, if this is accurate.
These sets have a history of tuner failure.

Hi All,
Got this one in a little while ago, haven't even opened it yet. Customer
said in pulled in, went to snow, and then a blank screen with OSD only.
Any ideas appreciated as always. Normally I would call Sanyo and ask
them to send me a schematic. Provided they had one left in their warehouse they
would have sent it me no charge as a customer service. Instead of disposing of
it as a lot of companies do with a lot of their old parts. They write them
off, I can't see the beauty of this plan. Then after it got here I would try to
repair the unit. If I had problems I could call them up for free and ask a
little technical advice. This is not to be because NESDA decided this was a bad
thing for all of the rest of the shops in the country. I personally though it
was a very progressive idea and mentioned it to NESDA. It could only increase
their overall sales. Which meant more warranty units for shops throughout the
country. Funny how stupid some people can be.

         Any help appreciated,

                   Lindsey
