Larry, don't have print but is their a surge limiting resistor on the ac or b+ line. say 1.9-3 ohm? GE/Rca/Samsung/Sanyo, ect ect would install those just to slow things down just a bit. Usually ceramtic 10/20 watt. Rick Mitchell Mitch's Electronics Ser.Co. I of course don`t have the schematic, could someone tell me where the B+ for IC681 comes from? it appears it may be zener D629 but zener checks good, heating/chilling components makes no difference, pulled HOT to see if it was loading regulator and set clicks on and then immediately shuts off.Any help appreciated, Larry E -- Larry Eastman American TV & Electronics Crystal River, Fl. http://www.tvjunkyard.com ------------------------------------------ Submit A Repair Tip For Everyone Here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html ------------------------------------------ To REMOVE your email address, click here: http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html To CHANGE your email address, click here: http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html ------------------------------------------ Submit A Repair Tip For Everyone Here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html ------------------------------------------ To REMOVE your email address, click here: http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html To CHANGE your email address, click here: http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html
