This set came in dead customer said it was lightning. I found Q402 (D1879) shorted and main fuse open. I replaced Q402 with a D1555, the set played for about 5 hours then Q402 shorted again. I checked C408 (1 uf 160 volt) and it was good but I will replace it this time anyway. I don't see any other problems. Does anyone think the new D1555 is a bad sub for this application? When it shorted I felt it with my finger and it was very hot! tia Shaun Advanced Electronics 224 West Riverview Ave. Fort Morgan, CO 80701 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Email List is Public.
