Don:
I have a note on Durabrand TV Model DBTV 2500, which I believe is
teh same chassis:
Hold volume down on TV and number 9 on remote for more than one second.
Use channel +/- to select and volume +/- to change.
To exit press menu on remote.

The Durabrand TV I have in the shop for service has R 506 blown apart
and I cannot read the value. It's a 20 or 25 watt resistor. Can you check if
the Sansui has the same resistor?
Thanks -
