Get out you silicone caulking gun and cover any beads on leads of diodes,
resistors etc. Betcha it fixes it. Hollis Bates

 Hi all,
This set has a high pitched squeal when the chassis is torqued and when it
is
in the set. If I twist the set the squeal will com and go, however, when I
press on the circuit board near the SMPS while twisting the squeal
disappears. The set has had this problem for a long time and was serviced
by
a SONY Service Center last year. They couldn't find the cause of the squeal
and placed a wedge under the chassis. Any help would be appreciated.
