I would imagine the next step would be to take the Video and digitize through a Home Computer. Since the Celluloid Technology has been gone for years, I don't think any one does it commercially. And if they do, probably a good buck per foot or minute. I used an adaptor that projected the movie into one side, then mirror off...and a Video Camera in the other side. Very time consuming. But worked well. I don't think those adaptors are around anymore. -Ed- Tel-Tek Electronics Ontario-Canada teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "Intrepid Video Support" <support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Techassist" <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 4:59 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Reel to Reel movie... > > > Hello, > I have a customer looking for someone to transfer reel-reel movies to DVD. > Anyone on this list do this or have any suggestions? > She didn't know anything more about the tapes..like what size tape..we are talking > before my time...(no comments, Al) > I know this is a long shot, but I told her I would ask., > Thank you. > > > Jeff Dougherty > Intrepid Video TV/VCR > 263 S Front St > Steelton PA 17113 > ph..717-939-7708 fax...717-564-4952 > www.intrepid-video.com www.tech-repair.net > A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the > effort. > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- > Lost Password: > http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?". > Email Archives: > //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lost Password: http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?".
