Sounds like they sold you an old version of Norton. I get e-mails selling 2002 versions of NAV. What a rip off. Of course--they are worthless. Heck I'd give away my old versions of norton--they are also worthless. Never had a problem with NAV-----yet. Allways get the new version of systemworks. Really nice utilities for a few extra bucks. I had problems with Norton about four years ago. I had installed it and updated. A a couple of days later I was zapped with the Nimda virus. Norton claimed I needed to upgrade to a newer version and it would cost another $27. I informed them to go F*** themselves. I uninstalled it and returned it to the computer store that sold it to me. > The rest is history. > Daryl > Daryl's TV > 2402 Wyoming Ave. > El Paso, TX 79903 > daryls_tv@xxxxxxx > www.angelfire.com/tv2/daryls_tv > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Tel-Tek Electronics" <teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Sat, 28 Feb 2004 17:52:27 -0500 > To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [TechAssist] Re-Problem with Address Hijacking > > > Ok..guys..Allen has agreed the problem came from his postings. > > > > > > Sorry about that guys, I was a victom of "Mydoom" I don't know why my > > nortan didn't protect me, It took me all day to get rid of it.
