[TechAssist] RCA mm101cc wide pix and overhearting

Hello all,
I have been trying to tame this dog, but maybe someone else knows already.
Set came in with wide pix and poor brightness.
CR14701 is a known culpret. This was replaced
and the width was touched up.
two weeks later it comes back with Q14751 (chopper driver ) in the same power
circuit with a shorted gate. (expensive part). The set fires up again. The
width problem is back and Q14751 runs VERY hot. All else seems OK.
Anyone have any experience with this?
