Check pin 9 of T14101, if loose or cold solder, resolder pin 9 and recheck
Q14101 and associated circuitry. If pin 9 doesn't have a good connection it
may damage Q14101 at turn on.

soldered the coil in the horizontal.  Now the set will just tick in
shutdown.  Replace c14106, and check other caps(test ok).  The Sound is
