Don't be afraid to charge a decent wage. Wifey got two teeth pulled
Friday. $595.00.
I don't like paying thousands a year in auto insurance, either, but we
live in the same expensive world as they do.
Look at it this way. You are "saving" the set from disposal and the
customer from another trip to Socket City.
We must "cost average" these jobs,because do we ever really charge the
guy with the 35" TV that we spent an entire evening on? No... Is that
fair? No, but it's reality. All week we "chisel" our labor to make it
sell-able to the customer. You can charge a nice amount without ripping
them off. I think when you have to solder all over, this is a major
labor situation.
Hey, if us honest guys don't charge enough to comfortably live, we go
under.Then there's only the crooks left. Not much of a public service...
