Sounds like an internal G2 to Focus Grid short in the pix tube. Check the G2 voltage on the CRT Board when pix is good. When Pix goes bad, check G2 voltage again with CRT Board connected and disconnected. There is a trick to remove an internal G2 to Focus grid short, but in my experience this short has not been intermittent, nor did it appear after warm-up. This is with 'older' RCA/GE sets though Peggs At 10:25 AM 6/3/03, wa4fty@xxxxxxx wrote: >Hi Jeff, Did you use an original RCA xformer??
