[TechAssist] RCA ctc170 intermittent start

CTC 170 , 36" TV
never worked on this chassis before.
tries to start for a split second.
no shorts, no focus divider trouble.
low current and hi-voltage ok.
if keep pushing button 6 times or so, it sometimes comes on
and looks fine.
no loose connections.
Probably a bad cap, but which one.
any common problems??
