> Does anyone know how to run this chass on the bench without the front
panel selector. It plugs into J3001 on mains.I tryed to remove the panel &
what a pain in the ass.Looks like you have to remove the whole front unless
there's a secret way of getting it out. This one mounts on the right front
side of set??I want to T/S this unit on the bench.Orginally it had the HOT
shorted,which I replaced with oem,after checking P/S, I fired it up & the HV
was 38kv[too high] & Q4802=vert pin. trans smoked.Replaced pin
diode=cr4402,&c4403=pin cap.Now the set is DOA?I want to bench test the
chass.I should have my STBY volts with no panel plugged in,right??But when I
want to turn it on how do I cheat this J3001,ie, which pins can I momentary
short to start up the set??BTW i did replace all caps in P/S & the ic.All
sweep caps were checked, aslo, the HOT & Damper are ok.All assistance
welcome...TIA....
