Thanks Phillip. This is the last time I post another
tech's problem. I get to the shop and it turns out the
unit is not dead but has been wired incorectly when
the tech opened up the combo and plugged it all back
in. He had the signal connector that should go to the
crt-pcb attached to the test connector on the main
board. Original problem was no vcr function. Got
everything rewired ok but I have no sound from the
speakers or headphones. the a/v audio is fine. Problem
the plan left out the a\v out circuit. Any ideas would
be apreciated. I will attempt to follow the signal
path but these units are hard to manipulate if all the
