It worked, but with video symptom. You changed a transistor and now no picture,
loud squeel. First, go back to the original part you replaced,put the old part
back and see if your old orig. symptom is restored. if not, you may have 
splashed
solder over the board. CLOSE visual inspection.
Squeel means usually the smps has an excessive load. Check the new parts in the
scan ckt you replaced. Diode in backwards? Caps in the correct places
(accidentally swap two caps in wrong holes?) Retrace your steps.
We've all done that.
