RCA CTC169

Chopper shorts. Replace chopper and regulator ICs, fails soon after

When Q4101 (chopper) fails it takes U4101 with it. Also replace C4108
(208002), C4102 (195691) and CR4122 (200158)

RCA CTC169

Chopper Output Runs Very Hot

Simpson'S Tv

After Replacing Q4101 Ecg 2311,& C4112 .0056/800v, Set Come On, But Chop
Output Run Very Hot, Cr 4122 Shorted 200158,Ecg 5065a,C4110 470 Pf 1500v
Was Bad

Also, always a good idea to replace C4118/190496 (470@35v) &
CR4118/164590.
