Hi Jeff.
I serviced a ptk169 last week.In my case pull hv lead off splitter the set
will turn on. You can connect 120v 100watt bulb at bettwen colecttor of
HOT.(after cut collector pin), to see it turn on with bright lamp.I used to
use this trick.
