This set has a shorted Microprosser ic U3101. The parts list and Tritronics seem to disagree on the part no., and I've ask their research dept. to check on it. Anyway, it indicares that the eeprom is replaced along with the micro, and that Chipper Check has to be used to align the set. Questions: Does the eeprom really have to be replaced with the micro? Does anyone know if Chipper Check is the only way?
