Here's some "no video" issues with the CTC140.

RCA\CTC140\NO VIDEO HAS SOUND\\\\REPLACE U3501 OR CR2501 LEAKY LOCATED
OFF U2300 PIN 13\\\\\\\\
RCA\CTC140\Tuner video missing for the first 3 to 5 minutes after
turning the\\\\Replacing L3601 restored normal operation.\\\\\\\\
RCA\CTC140\Video missing\\\\RESOLDERING DL8201\\\\\\\\
RCA\CTC140\Video missing (intermittent).\\\\Repaired a bad solder
connection where the PW VLT board solders into\\\\\\\\
RCA\CTC140\Video missing audio was normal.\\\\C3117\\\\\\\\
RCA\CTC140\Video missing* audio normal with TV channel
selected.\\\\C2508\\\\\\\\
RCA\CTC140\NO VIDEO\\\\CHECK CR4701 & L4700 FOR OPEN CONNECTIONS & U3100
LOCATED\IN SYSTEM CONTROL CIRCUIT MAY BE INTERMITTENT ALSO CHECK\CR2501
LOCATED OFF U2300 PIN 13 IN I.F. CIRCUIT MAY BE LEAKY\& CR2702\\\\\
RCA\CTC140\POOR CONTRAST (BYPASSING PIP MODULE SET WORKED
OK).\\\\REPLACED OPEN R8226 LOCATED ON THE CPIP MODULE.\\\\\\\\
