Phil:  Thanks for the tip.  I thought of it, but didn't try it.  Now I have 
sound with white raster and no video.  There must be a way to jumper certain 
pins to get back the pic.   Any ideas?    Thanks     Kenny

  Dumb idea but try it:
  If it has an upright plug in board with the RCA and S video jacks on 
  it, (it's also PIP)unplug it and remove that  board, then try the set.
