Make : RCA
Chassis : CTC157 series.
Problem : Shorts out Q2906 luma buffer every few days....customer hears a
ZAP then set goes to washed out screen with retrace.

I'm using ECG159 subs ( 2N3906 generics)

Is there an intermittent short ( HK?) causing this or do I need a beefier
buffer transistor to resist failure ?
