Shaun, Last time I recall, when you replace a flyback on that chassis, there 
is a small SMD that can easily be overlooked and knocked off. If so this 
little SMD can cause two or three strange problems and I Believe one is the 
one your describing. I dont, remember the pins that it was across but the  
schem. should show it. Look to see if its there.
