CR4118 is not the problem, I have all voltages off this diode. However I
don't see any activity on pin 24 of the micro when I hit the menu
button, channel or volume button, should I not expect to see some sort
of activity here? I'm about to give up on this thing, too damn hot to
work in the shop today, can't think straight. I'm still looking for help
on this please and thanks.

I found it, off +12V run voltage regulator Q4106, I'll check this too.
