Al,
Tech Assist archives has your answer..from Walter:

I know how to read the Hitachi "protectors".
I.E. marked 7000= m.a.=7k=7amps.
3000ma =3k= 3 amps. ETC.
Can these Protectors be safely replaced with a
"pica fuse"?
If so, should it be regular , fast blow, or slow
blow?
TIA
Walter

Subject: [TechAssist] Question on Pica Fuses

Someone sent a listing of these fuses and I saved it, Just cannot
remember where I saved it.

I have a fuse with # 7000 and silver band. Is this a 7 amp.

Used in a Zenith (hitachi) ptv. When I replace a 1 ohm resistor the
power supplies all come on.
Zenith lists no spare parts in the manual, only new board. Replace a
board for a bad fuse??
