In the "older" HD sets which use the dtv306/dtv307 chassis (306 is direct
view) there is an "integrated" tuner capable of receiving digital and
analog, ATSC and NTSC, terrestrial and satelite signals, including atsc
cable. It also contains most of the control system for the TV.
Suggested dealer (your) cost is only $816. and that INCLUDES the $150 dud
fee.
And I know you didn't ask, but the dm-1 power supply is the power supply
module for the dm1 module. Hi failure items on this board, two diodes and
two capacitors. Systems: anything from dead to intermittant to strange
operation. Kind of a CR4118 effect. First you replace these parts, then
troubleshoot if required.
