Phil,
Sounds like a bad Flyback.
Go to www.tritronicsinc.com to look up the number and you will also get a disk
cap and resistor to change.

Once it powered up with HV and sound for 3 seconds. Usually push power
and will cycle and click 3-4 times.While I am monitoring the high
voltage at CRT it fluctuated from zero to about 10KV.
Nothing definate in my archives.
