Betcha it goes into vert collapse if you use the Video inputs too. Green pix/full deflection...collapses with Signal/Sync....suspect HV shutdown circuit activating and cutting off vert drive. IF it has IK circuitry it could be the source of failure causing the vertical collapse symptom.....remember the panasonics with old crts that used to collapse the vert at the end of the crt's life??
