Wow....is cable grounded? Does it still collaps when the TV is plugged into
an isolation transformer? IF not...suspect the Tuner or isolation block. Need
more info.

Helping another tech, don't have model #. This set is made in China and
is most likely only 2 or 3 years old. Set has faint green picture with
full deflection with cable disconnected. As soon as you connect the
cable the set goes into vertical collapse. What is going on?
