Maybe it's time to start complaining to the broadcast regulators. Some operation has been doing some serious bad programming. This original bug has been around for years and maybe would set down a set once a year, Since last month this has got totaly out of hand, I got at least 6 call so far this week, all using either cable or satellite. After spending all those years in TV broadcasting I know the regulators like to harass broadcasters. I think I still have the numbers to contact the DOC which is the Canadian regulator, maybe some of you guys in the US can file complaints with the FCC Al G Tel-Tek Electronics wrote: > Is it possible..someone may pick up the phone...and call the Company...I > hear 00000 now 99999. > > I presume..if it's a Global Problem...someone has a "fix". > > > Never Mind...(Gilda Radner) I'll do it in the morning. > > > -Ed- > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Bill Grabowski" <bgrabowski@xxxxxxxxx> > To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Monday, January 09, 2006 8:12 PM > Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Possible RCA/Gemstar loss of audio Fix > > > >>I've heard of setting the zip code to all 99999's to shutdown the Guide!! >> >>-- >>********************** >>Bill Grabowski >>Triangle Appliance >>3813 Roosevelt Rd >>Kenosha WI 53142 >>262-694-6500 >>262-694-6523 fax >>bgrabowski@xxxxxxxxx >>********************** >> >> >>J.
