The original problem with this unit was intermittent output. Resoldered the entire PCB including the DSP (digital sound processor) board. After getting the service manual, we determined there was poor/int. output at the DSP board. We changed one of the IC's and a flex cable. All to no change. Is there any "magical modification" issued by Pioneer? Or maybe a common fault on these units that I'm overlooking? There "appears" to be no indication of a thrmal problem. Pioneer have become board swappers and want to just change the entire DSP board at a cost of $482 for the part alone. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance; Ken Dyche Mississauga T.V. Inc.
