If it dead why remove the light box....
And the pioneer back comes off and the front speaker cover is removable to
expose the panel the convergence board is attached,
And the panel removed will give you access to the h.v.....
Hope it helps....pioneers are actually fairly simple....

Happy weekend!
Does anyone know if a Pioneer SDP50A3K has a removeable lightbox??? Customer
has water damage from storm 2 nights ago and set died in the basement.
Another 45 mile away call and I'll have to take help w/ me this afternoon if
there is not a removeable lightbox assembly. Thanks for the help!
