How can I be sure that it is the flyback? I have had similar noises coming from the flyback and it was caused by other components. Thanks. I come across this problem whenever I fail to get the hv lines seated in those RCA splitters. Leaking hv in the flyback would do the same thing.=20 George Johnson TV Weatherly, PA 570-427-4637 --- Kevin <kevintv@xxxxxxx> wrote: > This Pioneer 46" projection TV has horizontal wiggly > lines in the > picture and a hissing noise coming from the flyback. > The customer said > the problem used to go away after a few minutes, but > now it does it all > the time.
