Yes, it can.
I had that on a 36" Toshiba.
The green heater was out and there was nothing I could do.

Can one filament be burned out in a 35 " picture tube and the other two lit?
I thought that they were series strung. But looking at a print for a 32" it
looks like each one could be tied to a common.   Paul
