Tech Assist has a repair tip for may of these Funai manufactured VCR's with this
problem. In Tech Assist the problem is listed as: "MECHANISM LOCKS UP - USUALLY
AT THE END OF THE REWIND AND UNIT SHUTS OFF WITH TAPE STUCK"
With a solution of: "REF# B81 LEVER LACKS LUBRICATION AND STICKS - APPLY
MOLYTONE
GREASE (P/N# 483531057035)"
Does anyone know which lever REF#B81 is refering to? Is it on the top or bottom
of
the mechanism chassis?
