Yes,that is correct. In the 90 day warranty they would just send them a
new VCR, after that they must send the old one along with $29.95 and
recieve a new VCR. One of my customers ended up with 3 VCR's, none of
which worked. Today you can buy a new VCR for $29.95, almost. The
VRB411 was a MK9 mechanism and the parts were certainly available for
the combis which used the same mechanism. The prism part number is
4825-402-97838. Chek to see if this prism has the 2 fingers that extend
forward to hold part of the clutch. (if not let me know). Sorry, I do
not have the Funai part number. John.
