Dear Paul,

If it's not too much trouble could you do the same for us up here. I have
the same trouble only with  a slightly different model philips. Originally,
when I got it in, I replaced the resistor with a 1.8 Ohm resistor and the
set came on but the vertical IC seemed to be too hot. I then tried some
generic substitutes and even a generic original with the shutdowns happening
even faster. I wonder if we all get the same trouble at the same time.

I'm new at this so I hope I'm doing this right. (I mean the EMAIL).
