I/R sensors are common with these, and any regulators with the "KIA" 
prefix suspect. Any KIA7805, KIA7806, etc. You replaced the HOT- do I 
understand the TV part now works OK?
Maybe the customer was using it as just a TV when that failed. Maybe 
the deck and the HOT issue are unrelated and failed at different times.
Some of these use small square pico type fuses around the SMPS. Check 
and components like that for opens.
