Phil, I've found many of these with bad connections on the regulators....move them while looking on the bottom and you can see the solder pads move. Try running the set, bang on it real hard and see if it shuts down....if no... Running the set, move the regs and see if the set shuts down. Customer said the set may run hours OK. but may just turn off by itself.Customer must hit power button (remote) multiple times to finally get it on. Seems to happen more with DVD movies. (Coinsidence?) It could run all day OK. Using VCR seems to not have the trouble. I am sure this is so intermittant, these are just guesswork as to VCR, DVD use, etc. They are on a rabbit ear ant as well. Oh- also says for awhile, when playing a tape, there is a "blip" every so many seconds they can hear, and the playback picture "blips" as well. Ugh. Mondays... Just putting it out there as a gesture of faith. ;-) Phil Bader -- Philip Bader Jan Phyl TV Inc. (estab. 1976) 3420 Recker Hwy.
