Thomas, Sounds like yov'e got yourself a supersonic oscillator. Look for around 60-100Khz at the outputs. If so then look for an open coupling cap. I do have the Peavey schematic but it does not tell you normal voltages or waveforms. I have checked everything, found nothing out of the ordinary. Problem is unit has no sound, power supply voltages are normal but the outputs do heat up to the point you cannot touch them,just sitting with no signal,if you unplug the connector that leads to the front mixer pcb then the outputs cool down. I do not see anything abnormal that would cause the outputs to get hot.Has anybody seen this problem with this peavey model?
