I don't think CRT's are going. Got back from a LG national convention a few weeks ago & they were demonstrating a new 30" HD CRT based set that was only 15"s deep with a helluv a picture. So if the worlds largest manufacturer of flat panel TV is still making CRT's, their not going away. Not near the quantity & plants, but they are not going away. Toshiba & JVC still have a full line of CRT based sets. 2 cents worth Greg Greg Smith G & A Electronic Services 2521 N.
