Guys;
I have traced it back to the A/D / D/A Circuit Board.
If anyone has a recollection of ever scrapping one of these Units..The
Module is VEPS0359. Looks like it's probably a non-repairable module. If
anyone finds one in their scrap Pile, email me and we'll negotiate.
        In the mean time I have rerouted the Pause to Non-Digital, which
now works fine.

Subject: [TechAssist] Panasonic VCR PV-4780-K

Guys;
This is a VCR I have been trying to repair for my own use. I have redone
the Power Supply, and the Unit works great. This is a Digital Unit,
which means you can pause the picture digitally, has Freeze for actual
TV Picture and strobe capability. All my Digital funtions have a herring
bone pattern over it. Would anyone have a manual for this, particularily
the Digital Board. It's a High end VCR..over 10 years old...but I try to
restore these for my own use when time permits. Ken Smith suspected a
cap in the Power Supply, but I have eliminated that aspect.

TIA
