[TechAssist] Panasonic PV-DM2799 , Brightness increase then shutts off

Hi Everyone
This Panasonic TV/dvd .... original customer complaint was the brocken piece in
back where you connect the cable to .They tried to fix it and could not do it.
I have the TV and fixed the connector . Now when trying to turn on the tv ,
screen brightness appears with horizontal lines ( like when you increase the
screen ) and gets brighter and brighter then shuts off. I remember the last
time I had a case like this I changed a resistor off crt board and tv was fixed
( it was different brand ). I checked all resistors on crt and they are ok .
Any help would be appreciated.
