[TechAssist] Panasonic Camcorder PV-L550 DEW Problem

Panasonic Camcorder PV-L550
Problem - Originally, cust. said 'DEW Detected' would show up and power
zoom did not work - seemed to happen at the same time.
Disconnected the cable to the zoom motor- DEW problem seemed to go away.
Zoom motor was definitely bad - one of the solder pins had broken.
Replaced zoom motor. Originally had DEW show up. Did a re-solder
(contacts are real close together). Dew went away. Tried it for a while-
seemed ok. Packed it up; sent it out.
Customer tried it at shop- OK. Took home- DEW problem is back.
Could not figure the relation between the zoom motor and DEW anyway. Now
I have to figure it out
