Helping assist a local shop, heres what he says:
Dead,storm.
Brought up running with replacing:
STRGxxx reg IC and shorted diodes D812 zener,D055 5.6v zener,D821 zener
,D820 1n914.
Now...
After above fix, it works perfectly,except after it's on a minute or
more, the
"Action" OSD ramdomely appears. He can press the remote to clear it
alright but
may appear again .
He did replace the micro and eeprom and has a good 5V stby.
I suggested removing the "action" button from the chassis incase of
leakage. He did so, but the menu "Action" OSD still appears randomely.
Any histories?
