I just finishing repairing a 13" Sansui TV which had a vertical
deflection problem. I replaced the output IC plus caps, and a zener
diode but still had intermittant deflection. Then I needed to clean the
resin off the board so I could see the traces better and from then on,
the deflection worked fine. It's been running for a few days now ok.
