Hi Wayne!

I'm not sure you are waiting for the correct eeprom. The CTC178J and CTC178L
chassis take the 212119 eeprom and micro kit. I just hung up with Thomson
and the ETA has been moved to 11-16-02.

If you have the CTC178J2 or L2 chassis it takes the 237699 eeprom. I have 2
of those in stock for $3.55 each.

Let me know if you would like me to send you the ones I have or anything else.

Sincerely,

Jason Martin

Brock, My name is Wayne Frazier / Tv Service Company, Lexington, S.C. ...
Currently we have a PTK178L2 in for service. It came in with no vertical. We
have replace and checked everything known to cause this problem and are now
at
the point that we think the EE-Prom is causing the problem.. My reason (s)
for
sharing this with you is that perhap your menu problem is an EE-Prom. We
ordered an EE-Prom thru our local RCA Distributor and by the way it comes
with
the micro -- going into our third month now. It seems RCA can not or will not
deliver?? If you have any information you would like to share .. We thank
you.
