You will need a remote such as the original (RM-Y115, Sony part#
1-467-125-11) because this set has a separate "OFF" button to turn off the
PIP. The "PIP" button only turns it on which is why you are in this
situation. I know of no way to get around it without another Sony remote
that has the "OFF" function for PIP.
