Never seen it but sounds like a corrupted EPROM or bad CPU. Probably the
EPROM after trying some kind of update.

Thanks

Subject: [TechAssist] PIONEER DVD Model # DV-414 Flash Sum Error?

Hello all,

Anyone out there in Tech Assist land seen this before.

One of my accounts has brought me three of these units all do the exact same
thing.

Unit turns on and immediately says "FLASHSUM" in display

Anybody got any ideas?

Good luck, God Bless
