Bill, the rundll line you gave me brought up an "error loading setupwbv.dll The specified module could not be found" if I used the whole string, and didn't come up at all after taking off the "IE5Maintenance" at the end. I really dont want to use restore because I would have no idea when to restore it to. I have been putting up with this for quite some time while looking for cure through groups and etc. Never crossed my mind to put it on list--duh. I will have to try reisntalling IE. Wont my xp disk have it on it? Havent looked at it since I built the PC. Sometimes it forces me to start in whichever website I am---at the beginning. I've googled the heck out of this and am getting frustrated. > JF> TIA > JF> TV Doctor > JF> Avalon, Wi > > > JF> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----- > JF> Lost Password: > JF> http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?". > JF> Email Archives: > JF> //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- > Lost Password: > http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?". > Email Archives: > //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ > > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lost Password: http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?".
